Fran Lebowitz’s Public Speaking Premieres Tonight on HBO

“The title Public Speaking means that I endorse that I speak publicly,” Fran Lebowitz says in the sneak peek of Martin Scorsese’s doc about her career, “it’s not a general directive… For a general directive, I really advise public listening.” I think Fran’s on to something.
