Earth Day Workshop at the New School

by Team Intern

The New School is hosting a workshop for environmentally concerned but ultimately confused New York City consumers. I recommend attending this free event if you’re interested in a cleaner, greener Earth (and prizes)!

It’s Easy Being Green: The Hows and Whys of Eco-friendly Eating

Earth Day Workshop at the New School

When it comes to food, what’s good for the planet is good for the
animals, and it’s good for you! Luckily, you live in NYC, which has 46
green markets and 103 vegetarian restaurants. See for yourself how easy
it is to be green in the Big Apple.

This enlightening workshop is perfect for you if you are:
– a rabid recycler of your processed food boxes
– a vigilant vegan who thinks "biodynamic" is a hot new herbal deodorant
– wonder if "CSA" stands for "Cream & Sugar in your Americano"
– or want to decrease greenhouse gas emissions without increasing your
gastrointestinal emissions.

After your eating makeover, your friends will be GREEN with envy!
Co-facilitated by Marisa Miller Wolfson of Global Green Foundation and
Desmond Hosford of Farm Sanctuary. Co-sponsored by New School Students
for Animal Rights.
