AbFab fans your prayers have been answered: the movie is coming! Jennifer Saunders confirmed on Britain’s Loose Women that, finally, after years of waiting, the film is officially going to happen.
“There is a plot and that’s the miracle,” shares Saunders. “It involves all the main characters and virtually everyone that’s ever been in the series, all those characters.”
The cult classic, which aired for five seasons and several televisions specials in the UK, broadcasted the misadventures of Edina Monsoon (Jennifer Saunders) and Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley) as they attempt to jump on the trendy fashions, be overall terrors, and drink until their livers quake with fear.
Filled with crude humor and an amazing cast of characters, Absolutely Fabulous (or AbFab) is like a female version of Entourage meets Broad City for those unfamiliar, and we are so excited to see it on the big screen.
