The Shondes Release New Album, Embark on National Tour

Brooklyn band the Shondes are hitting the road this fall to promote their new album Searchlights, out September 20 ( Exotic Fever Records, pre-order here to receive a signed CD or LP and bonus poster by artist Katy Weselcouch).  The genderqueer quartet is building a reputation as rock 'n' roll’s next revolutionaries, drawing on both riot grrrl and traditional Jewish music influences, delivering powerful and impassioned performances, and giving the violin some serious political-punk cred.
