Not that spontaneous combustion and the like are our brand of humor, but David Sedaris sure as hell is. After all, he is the bro of our former cover girl Amy. Catch him tonight at The Strand in NYC where he will be reading excerpts from his newest collection of essays curiously titled, When You Are Engulfed in Flames. Read More

Flash us Your Ta-Tas!

Breast cancer awareness month may be a couple days behind us, but that's no reason to forget the cause that has united men and women around the world. The Save the Ta-Tas Foundation exists to increase awareness about the disease and funding to find a cure through the sale of adorable merch like the t-shirt worn by Kristin Bell, above. Normally we would cringe at a bumper sticker reading, 'Honk if you Heart Ta-Tas,' but we'll make an exception for items like boob lube for self examinations. Read More

(Hilary Duff at NYC Aids Walk) Yay! for all the supportive New Yorkers who raised money and participated in the 24th annual AIDS Walk for 2009! The event, which took place this weekend in and around Central Park, raised over 5.6 million and attracted more than 45,000 participants, defying the low fundraising expectations in midst of the recession. ...for men. Pfizer just launched a program last week that will provide free medicines for newly unemployed Americans, including Viagra. The new program, MAINTAIN (Medicines Assistance for Those who Are in Need), will focus on helping those who have lost their jobs (and health insurance) recently. Of course they're not handing it out like candy; you have to meet the requirements of eligibility in order to receive the benefits of the company's program. So, men can get their groove on... I try to refer to what I've heard some say is 'the Bible for New Yorkers' when I can: Time Out New York, of course, for updates on restaurants, bars and whasss happenin' in each 'hood. Meet Rich (pictured), my BBF (as in Best Bear-Friend), among others, and get to know their 'Habitat,' 'Bear Subspecies,' and what being a bear means to them. Read More

Samantha's sentence

A British woman named Samantha Orobator (pictured) has been charged with drug trafficking and is facing the death penalty in Laos. Orobator, 20, was arrested for carrying half a kilo of heroin back in August in the country. OK, if you're like me and have watched enough of Locked Up Abroad, it's easy to see it's definitely not a pretty thing to be incarcerated in a foreign country. Especially one who believes in 'death by firing squad,' supposedly the sentence for that amount of heroin in Laos, which is what Orobator faces. The thing is, she's pregnant. Read More

How's your fluidity?

BY Team Intern in Sex

While cruising CNN, I came across 'Why women are leaving men for other women,' which naturally peaked my curiosity. Granted, it's a report from, but a new buzz word, not coined by Ms. O, is 'sexual fluidity,' based on recent scientific studies by Dr. Lisa Diamond (who also wrote a book on the studies), about women's sexual preferences, which the article discussed. The studies report that 'fluidity represents a capacity to respond erotically in unexpected ways due to particular situations or relationships. It doesn't appear to be something a woman can control.' Hmmm...fluidity. Read More
