Michael Vick: How About a Reality Show in Hell?

Michael Vicks

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Vick, the former NFL player convicted for his part in a dogfighting ring, is talking to TV producers about a 'proposed docu-series would follow Vick starting July 20, the day of his scheduled release from federal custody, and show him trying to 'make amends for his past.''

And it would also make him about $600,000 richer, according to what his attorneys told the judge presiding over Vick's bankruptcy hearing.

THR reports, 'Insiders place bets on AE and Spike TV as likely first stops.' Reality TV can be trashy, sure -- I confess to loving 'The Millionaire Matchmaker,' 'Tough Love,' and 'Intervention,' among other AE offerings -- but Michael Vick has nothing on the Octo-mom's dating woes.

And then there's the idea of Vick raking in more than half a million bucks when people I know are losing their jobs left, right, and center, taking pay cuts, and doing the freelance hustle to try and make ends meet.

I have a feeling, okay, a hope that these TV producers will decide to listen to their consciences and not give this guy a reality show. Or maybe they'll just listen to their bosses when advertisers and their readily shrinking budgets decide to spend their dough elsewhere.
