Let's Get Sandy! Four Indie Bands Team Up for Hurricane Relief

Four NYC indie rock darlings are coming together for Hurricane Sandy relief! A benefit concert on December 14th at Terminal 5 will donate all proceeds to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City.

Sleigh Bells, a duo from Brooklyn, will be blowing out our eardrums with their heavy brand of noise pop.  They’ve now got two albums out and are working on a third with a possible release date in 2013.

With the release of their fourth studio album, Shields, Grizzly Bear proved that their experimental pop sound is still going strong.  No doubt their performance will be peppered with old favorites like “Two Weeks.”

The Antlers will also be playing at the benefit.  You can check out their light, dreamy sound in the video above.

Finally, you’ll be able to see Cults sway with their characteristic ambient sound.  Perhaps they will have you swaying too?

The show is open to all ages, and you can find tickets here.
