Lady Gaga's Message to the Senate Regarding DADT

Lady Gaga has something to say about the military's "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy and she wants all of America to hear it. Not only has she been tweeting her opinions and pleas, she has made a video that is over 7 minutes long and directly addresses the U.S. Senate.

Responses have varied. Some question the pop-queen's credibility in issuing a public statement expressing her personal stance on the controversial DADT policy, while others applaud her for taking responsibility as a public figure and using her celebrity status to bring attention to a pressing political issue.
