BUST's managing editor, Emily Rems, squared off against Phil Freeman, writer of Headbanger metal blog for MSN Music and editor of Burning Ambulance, on NPR's Soundcheck Smackdown this afternoon! The two fiercely debated the musical significance of the well-loved and sorely missed Detroit duo the White Stripes.
