Blythe goes BUST: Happy Bidding!!!!

Blythe Dolls: much too scary for children, but much more appropriate for high fashion designers and collectors. From Blythe’s 9th Anniversary “Manga Girls Inspiration” collection, Blythe and Manga are hosting a charity auction donating all proceeds to the “Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami” fund through Red Cross Japan. Starting June 1st—Blythe and BUST fanatics will have the opportunity to own the one-of-kind, super exclusive BUST Magazine Blythe doll designed by our very own Callie! Yup, I said it. We’ve designed our very own a Blythe doll. I know, I can't believe it either.

With more than 100 manga/anime inspired dolls created by different fashion designers, these dolls have been transformed into quite the little (and semi-creepy) fashionistas. Maybe I’m biased, but I do have to say ours in one of the coolest! Inspired by dream-catchers, our ginger-haired Blythe is dressed to the nines in a three-tiered dream-catcher skirt and super cool makeup to match (see below). And I cannot forget her eyelashes that bat with the pull of a string. After traveling all over Japan, I would imagine that the BUST Blythe is ready to have a home (and by that I mean, hopefully your home).

Although our Blythe is pretty rad, make sure to check out the amazing creations by other designers including Nanette Lepore, Mary Jo Matsumoto and another Blythe fav of mine by BoF with Euro Trash (see below). Even if you have no intentions of bidding, you should still check out these fascinating Blythe creations starting Wednesday June 1st until June 15th! But don’t forget 100% of the proceeds are donated to the “Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami” fund.
