Atlanta grime-rock masters, The Black Lips, announced a month of additional dates to their already packed North American tour in support of their forthcoming album. The album is produced by Amy Winehouse hit maker Mark Ronson, a far cry from the directly to tape analog recordings of their 2007 album, Good Bad Not Evil. As the Vice blog noted, it's "the most anticipated collaboration since Sid and Nancy." Infamous for puking on stage, the Black Lips are giving you two months worth of shows. Plenty of time to wow you with their heavy jams and gross you out with their bodily fluids. Read More
"Who is opening for Interpol?" I think I heard that 10 times while waiting for the School of Seven Bells / Interpol show @ Radio City Music Hall to begin on Thursday night. These days my statuesque gods in 3-piece suits tend to draw the Burning Man mob. (Remember Kelly'sreview?) So, of course I smelled skunk weed. And the dude who sat next to me played air drums during their entire set. But the real heartbreaker? Some of these people were unfamiliar with School of Seven Bells. “Who are they? Never heard of ‘em.” Really? I feel sorry for these cave dwellers. Read More

I love many things in life, but two of my favorites are cute things and tea, which makes Andrews and Dunham Damn Fine Tea now among my favorite favorites. Their unique blends of (delish!) tea are packaged in adorable tins with motifs like Star Wars, Chinese New Year, and mermaids! Sadly, all their teas are limited edition, but I think it would be totally awesome to build up a cute little tin collection after you've finished your teas. Read More
