Zayn Malik’s Instagram is no longer private and my heart has burst into a thousand pieces.
I’m a 21-year-old woman. I am also the biggest Directioner in existence. And while I’m a Directioner across the board, I have a very VERY special place in my heart for Zayn Malik.
I’ve been basically betrothed to Zayn Malik since I first witnessed him and his buddies in their “What Makes You Beautiful” music video in 2011. I fell head over heels with his tight white t-shirt, drop crotch khaki pants and faux-hawk. I instantly transformed back into a 13-year-old and began planning my first virgin sacrifice to the love-gods to make him mine forever.
Whether it’s their music videos that usually feature the five boys jumping into various bodies of water with their clothes on, or maybe their ridiculously catchy pop music that is equal parts sugar and sexual-innuendo, there is nothing not to love about them.
And while I know for people who are actually supposed to be in their target demographic, sometimes it’s not “cool” to like the popular thing. And those same teenagers might scoff in my direction (hahaha) when they discover my true feelings for Zayn, but I really don’t mind.
That just means more Zayn for me to love; with your gorgeous pipes that can hit those insane falsetto notes, to your perfect jawline to your chocolate and vanilla swirl hair to your amazing dance moves, you Zayn Malik, don’t know you’re beautiful.
