The Golden Girls has always been one of my favorite shows. Even as a pre-teen I could somehow relate to these older ladies. I was fascinated with Dorothy and Sophia’s relationship, so open and honest. The show has always made me look forward to getting old, to wearing sweaters all the time, living with my best friends and always having a pie on hand. And yes, still getting laid! Estelle Getty (Sophia) passed away this morning. Already youtube is being flooded with tribute videos. I am going to have my own tribute after I get back from the showing of Desperately Seeking Susan tonight. I am gonna have some ladies over, put on my Stay Golden shirt (with a sweater over it) and watching as many episodes as possible. What are your favorite episodes, toss some suggestions my way!
