Plush Gifts Galore!

by Intern Stephanie G

If you live in the New York City area, and are looking for cute, unique gifts for the holiday season, look no further than the third annual Lov-able & Hug-able plush show (sponsored by your favorite magazine, BUST)! Dying for a pocket-sized robot or a hug-sized, eye-patched monster? You’re sure to find them here. With a 2009 theme of “Medium and Mini”, these adorable little plushes will fit anyone’s budget. Over 40 top plush artists from around the world will be featuring their creations, including designer toy giants Devil Robots and Noriya Takeyama. The show is running December 3rd through January 9 at Gallery Hanahou (Mon-Sat, 12pm-6pm, 611 Broadway, Suite 730, NYC).

There will even be a special workshop on December 19th (1-4pm, cost is $20), where you can make your own “wee peppermint beast ornament” with artist Jenny Harada.

Could these possibly get any cuter?? Honestly, I think not.

Feeling left out because you don’t live in the NYC area? Don’t fret. Items will be available for purchase online after the first week of the opening at www.galleryhanahou.com
