Ollie Klublershturf vs. The Nazis

by Grace Evans

“Good evening Poppy, still alive I see,” says Ollie Klublershturf to his elderly grandfather, calmly taking his place at the dinner table in his sweater vest and glasses, every bit the classic child nerd. This cute short is directed by Skot Bright and written by Damon Lindelof (Lost). Ollie’s older brother Dade has brought home a new girlfriend for dinner to meet the parents, but Ollie quickly captures everyone’s attention with his boy genius eccentricities. Oh, and his time machine. Ollie calmly and matter-of-factly explains that Nazis attempting to apprehend his invention have invaded their home. Starring Chris Hemsworth, George Segal, Lainie Kazan, Norman Reedus, Rachel Nichols, Samm Levine, and Zach Mills, this 10-minute comedy short is definitely worth a viewing.

And it’s so nice to see Freaks and Geek’s Neal Schweiber all grown up, even if he is missing his sidekicks Bill Haverchuck and Sam Weir.
