Lady Parts Justice Teach-In This Monday in NYC!

by Amy Carlberg
Did you enjoy the feminist tea party BUST Magazine threw at the #Primped Craftacular with Sarah Sophia Flicker and Tennessee Thomas at the beginning of the month? How about adding Lizz Winstead to that powerful lineup?
The Daily Show creator will join our tea party guests Sarah Sophie Flicker and Tennessee Thomas for a Lady Parts Justice “Teach In” at Deep End Club May 19th. It’s the perfect event for those who are curious about politics and their place in it, or those who just want to fan-girl out over some awesome feminists and receive their precious wisdom. Or people who like cool T-shirts.
10 million more women than men voted in the last election, and a lot of those people live in New York City. Don’t you want to be one of the folks who gets what’s going on and refuses to let it happen? One of the shirts available for purchase is emblazoned “1973”–the year Roe V Wade passed, progress which many states still attempt to undo more than 40 years later. You know you’re not gonna let the government go and do you like that, girl.
So this Monday, head down to the Deep End Club at 6:30 and get your teach on!
