Jenny Lewis, Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart and Brie Larson Prove They are Just One of the Guys

Jenny Lewis is one of my favorite musicians of all time. I didn’t think my love for this maven could’ve grown any more after years of touring as one-half of my favorite band Rilo Kiley, her very successful solo albums Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins: Rabbit Fur Coat and Acid Tongue, or the fact that she played Phyllis Nefler’s daughter in the cult classic Troop Beverly Hills.

But she’s topped everything, and the Internet might just explode, with her new music video for her single “Just One of the Guys”.

The music video begins with Jenny Lewis in a unicorn/fun fetti-suit and matching guitar (with perfect bangs, I might add), accompanied by the ultimate band of babes: Kristen Stewart, Anne Hathaway and Brie Larson, all adorned in white suits and looking gorgeous as always.

Then, things take a turn for the AMAZING, when these ladies transform into “just one of the guys” in color coordinated Adidas tracksuits and various scummy facial hair styles, ranging from porn-staches to chin beards.

Jenny Lewis has a hilarious Maury Povich “I’m not the father” moment, Brie Larson reminds me of that creepy neighbor you always avoid when grabbing your newspaper in the morning and Kristen Stewart is too good at pretending to be a tool (like scary good).

But I didn’t think anything could top the visual image of Anne Hathaway playing the key-tar until I saw her attempt to break dance in her tracksuit with a rattail. That singlehandedly takes the cake as one of my favorite visual images ever.

And have I mentioned the song is amazing? Jenny Lewis knocks it out of the park as per usual, and now I’m even more pumped for her album to drop.

The best part of this whole music video, in my opinion, is I know that each of these actresses (Kristen, Brie and Anne) are musicians in their own right, so I can only daydream that these four would actually make the most successful super babe band there ever was…I’ll hold out, one day one day.
