Some idiot on Reddit decided to post a meme called “Feminist Nazi,” kicking off a series of memes by the same name, all of which portray feminists as unintelligent hypocrites.
The Reddittor, Galactic777, submitted the image pictured above of Layla Subritzky, a cast member from the ninth season of Big Brother Australia, that says “You’re supposed to pull my chair out, hold the door open for me, pay for me and be nice to me no matter what while treating me like an equal.”
Memes that came about in the series afterwards include one that says, “I’m a strong independent woman until something heavy needs to be lifted.” And another that says, “I demand equality between men and women! Except when I get special treatment for being a woman.”
My favorite of the series is a meme that says “Oral Sex? What’s in it for me?” Solid point on that one, dude. Congratulations, you most likely just made a bunch of women rethink giving blowies. Good luck on your next hook up (attempt).
Yeah, you’re so right. Feminists are all hypocrites that like to “bitch” and complain and do nothing about what they’re complaining about. That’s all of us, and we’ve done nothing good for the world.
Take feminist pioneer Gloria Steinem, for example, who right-wing radio personality, Rush Limbaugh, has called a “feminazi” for years. She’s done nothing for the world…except be a leader in the women’s liberation movement in the 1960s and 1970s and fight against violence against women, such as female genital mutilation and sex trafficking.
Like, seriously. LEARN SOMETHING.
I get it, Galactic777. You’re sexist. Therefore, hearing women talk about how we deserve equal human rights must really grind your misogynist gears.
Well, get the hell over it, bro, because we’re not shutting up.
