Ciara and Nicki’s New Track Serves Lady Power Realness, Doesn’t Diss Rihanna

by Tess Duncan

Two of the baddest divas in the game have collab’d again on “I’m Out,” the new party anthem for the ladies. Cici starts it off strong with the club-ready chorus, “Ladies, it’s your song, so as soon as this come on/ You should get out on the floor, go and get your sexy on.” Of course, everyone’s favorite Harajuku Barbie keeps it tough, spittin’ fire in her verses. (My personal favorite parts of Minaj’s faster-than-the-speed-of-light flow? “I do it big/ I hit ’em with the caps lock!” and fiery shot “You couldn’t get a fan if it was hangin’ from the ceilin’!” BURN.) Despite rumors that any of this was a Rihanna diss, Nicki cleared the air by defining the track as a “male bashing song” via Twitter. Seems like the moral of the story/song is not to let a break-up get ya down because you’re still fly as hell and don’t forget it! Listen below!
