Do you like bicycles, art, and weird shit?
What a silly question, of course you do!
That said, you’re going to want to attend the silent auction benefit, “Bizarre! Weird Bikes! Weird Art!” (plus, I think it’s common knowledge that anything with three exclamation points in the title is guaranteed to be awesome).
It all goes down tonight from 8-midnight @ Brooklyn Fireproof Bar (119 Ingram St.).
Not only will there be $3 beers, live silk-screening, DJs, and bike performances all night, but there’s also going to be a lot of crazy multimedia art from around the country, including a variety of weird bikes, performance track bikes and cargo trailers.
The list of artists whose work will be featured in the exhibition includes:
Amy Smalls, Amigo Unit, Andrew H. Shirley, AVOID ∏, Chloe Swantner, Conrad Carlson, DARKCLOUDS, DeeDock-Hobby Horse-5003, Hillel, Ellis Gallagher, Fumie Ishii, Greg Henderson, Ian Helwig, Ian Vanek, Jennifer Shear, Julian C. Duron, Ian Colon, Julie Glassberg, Keith Pavia, Lindsay Ellesar, MIKEY 90, Nick Chatfield-Taylor, Noah Sparkes, Ryan Doyle, Tod Seelie, Tony Bones, Travis Moonschien, UFO 907, Weiwei Lin, and William T. Porter.
All proceeds will go to the artists unless specifically donated to Porter Cycles, an independent bike builder established this year in Brooklyn.
