12-Year-Old Boy Converses With Future Self

At only 12 years old, Jeremiah McDonald made a videotape for himself to watch in the future. The now 32-year-old actor and filmmaker recently unearthed the old video and made another, 20 years later, in which he pops in the tape, pours himself a drink, and has a conversation with a younger, curious version of himself. From asking if his old pets are still alive to making sure he still likes Dr. Who, the results are both hilarious and poignant. And here I thought I was so clever for writing notes to “Future Grace” a couple months ahead in my day planner…
