Canadian astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield has blown my mind with his cover of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” done in space! As his 5-month tour aboard the International Space Station did not compromise his mustache, it sure gave him the proper perspective to cover this epic tale of isolation.

I’ll give it to the Commander, his version is far less full of despair than our favorite alien, and has been flying around Internet space further proving that being an astronaut is the coolest job ever.
