Amy Poehler's New Series Has Us Way Too Excited

I know, it's a lot to take in. This is a talent threesome dreams are made of.

A new series entitled Difficult People will star hilarious On the Street with Billy host Billy Eichner and wildly talented head writer Julie Klausner as cranky New York City comedians who apparently hate everyone, but love pop-culture, and each other. The show will be produced by none other than Amy Poehler, because she does everything awesome. Based on the awkward and perfect hilarity of Broad City--another Poehler-produced show--Poehler knows where the funny's at, and Difficult People is sure to please.

The show will be written by its co-star Julie Klausner, the well-accomplished and hilarious writer, comedian, and author of I Don't Care About Your Band, and the Young Adult novel ART GIRLS ARE EASY. She also hosts the "How Was Your Week" podcast, which was deemed "'one of the few essential podcasts' by the New York Times and was named one of the best 10 comedy podcasts of the moment by Rolling Stone and in GQ’s Comedy Issue."

Whelp, this is a power team if I've ever seen one.

Can't wait for the funny? Watch Klausner cover a cat fashion show:
