Election time is just around the corner (that or the rest of us are just eagerly anticipating when it actually is) so I thought I would post a few links today on getting to know your candidates on a somewhat under reported aspect - their stances on women's rights.  Read more for helpful (in my opinion anyway) links. Helpful John McCain links: McCain's Views on Choice  McCain's Views on Domestic Violence America Blog: McCain  ABC ... Read More

I am Wild.

BY Team Intern in General

True story! It's a perfume just pour moi! We got these cute perfumes from Danica and I was the lucky lady to try them out.  I dig the Wild version because my nose can easily sniff out the Jasmine, one of my favorite scents. I normally veer away from anything fruity, which would give me an all-day starbursts crave.  However, in this the summery peach and passion fruit isn't at all overwhelming, but a welcome surprise amongst that fresh jasmine ...   What celebrities are you living in the past for? After discussing the new Batman movie that is coming out, I confessed that Christian Bale circa Little Women was the man of my dreams... but then Tara reminded me of the 1992 classic musical The Newsies which not only made a New York accent hot, but made Brooklyn cool long before Brooklyn got hip. Forget Christian Bale! Spot, you'll always be the man of my eleven year old heart. (image taken from ... Read More

The Pack A.D. is a Molotov cocktail mixture of every band you most likely already like. Canucks, Becky Black and Maya Miller play a mean blues on debut album Tintype (Mint) while at the same time fit comfortably within the 'new' revival of garage rock duos. Think The White Stripes only with two awesome ladies instead of just one meeting ...Shannon Curfman maybe? Black's voice is smoky yet bluesy, her influences off the band’s myspace include Billie Holiday ... Read More
