Pig: A Restaurant is a new comedy being performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City's Chelsea district. Both the show's creator, Leila Cohan-Miccio, and star Lauren Adams use their food-industry experience to create a realistic and humorous look behind the scenes of a pork -themed restaurant. Cohan-Miccio is a former editor of the foodie website Grub Street (and producer of the web video Vag Magazine) while Adams is a New York City actress and restaurant veteran who has waited tables everywhere from Balthazar to Pure Food and Wine.

Anyone who has ever worked in a restaurant can easily relate to the characters and exaggerated situations. Take hostess Aurora, for example. She’s a model/actress/hostess who claims she got her job because she just looks so good standing in front of stuff. Of course no restaurant is complete without an irate, full-of-themselves co-worker to terrorize the staff. Enter head chef Annie, a former Top Chef quarter-finalist. Essentially a one-woman show (all roles are played by Adams), multimedia is featured through-out which helps to keep things fresh and interesting.
