Julie Klausner lowres Julie Klausner is a comedy writer/performer, podcaster, and author. Her podcast, How Was Your Week, has won raves from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and GQ. Julie's first book, I Don't Care About Your Band, is optioned for a TV series starring Lizzy Caplan; she also wrote the YA novel Art Girls Are Easy and a pilot based on the novel Apocalipstick for NBC. Klausner's comedy writing credits include SNL, Upright Citizens Brigade, Best Week Ever, Billy On The Street, and Joan Rivers; she's also written for The New York Times, New York Magazine, McSweeney's, Salon, The A.V. Club, Nerve, The Awl, Spin, The Hairpin, and (of course) BUST.


 Cibo Matto lowres
Cibo Matto is the groundbreaking and genre-bending duo of Miho Hatori and Yuka C. Honda. After independently releasing the singles "Birthday Cake" and "Know Your Chicken" in 1995, Cibo Matto signed to Warner Bros., releasing Viva! La Woman in 1996 and Super Relax in 1997. Bassist Sean Lennon, percussionist Duma Love, and drummer Timo Ellis later joined the group for 1999's Stereo * Type A. Cibo Matto disbanded in 2001, but reunited for a series of benefit concerts in 2011. Hatori and Honda are in the process of writing new songs for an upcoming album.


HarMar Superstar lowres  The hot-'n'-heavy soul crooner Har Mar Superstar (a.k.a. Sean Tillmann) is known for his particular sexed-up brand of retro R&B. In addition to writing for artists like Jennifer Lopez and Kelly Osbourne, he's released a number of albums: Har Mar Superstar, You Can Feel Me, The Handler, and Dark Touches. The gritty single "Lady, You Shot Me," from his latest album Bye Bye 17, has garnered critical acclaim. 


JDSamson-lowres JD Samson is best known as leader of the band MEN and for being one-third of the electronic-feminist-punk band and performance project Le Tigre. For more than a decade, JD's career as a singer, producer, and DJ has landed her at the intersection of music, art, activism, and fashion. MEN's debut full-length record Talk About Body was released in February 2011 by IAMSOUND in the USA and through Sony/Columbia in Europe. This was followed by the release of the EP Next in April 2012. MEN is currently finishing up its new full-length album. Samson has been DJing internationally since 2001.


Broad City Pic lowres  Broad City's creators and stars are Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer. The show, executive-produced by Jacobson and Glazer alongside Amy Poehler, is Comedy Central's newest scripted half-hour, set to premiere in early 2014.

Vanessa Bayer is a cast member on Saturday Night Live who hails from Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where she directed the Bloomers sketch comedy group. After college, she moved to Chicago, where she studied and performed at Second City, the iO theater, and The Annoyance, and did stand-up at Zanies. She now performs all over New York and other places. Her favorite Real Housewife is Lydia.


Murray Hill lowres  N.Y.C. nightlife legend, comedian, and renowned entertainer Murray Hill, "the hardest working middle-aged man in show business," is a relentless retro shtick slinger, larger-than-life personality and freewheeling ad-libber. He's been selected as one of OUT magazine's Top 100 influential performers; included in New York Magazine's "Fifty Most Iconic Gender Benders of All Time" and named one of the top 12 gender-bending performers in N.Y.C. by Time Out. His pilot Showbiz with Murray Hill was just picked up by MTV. Murray is also the premier and exclusive host for international burlesque superstar Dita Von Teese. 


ATamblyn Headshot lowres Amber Tamblyn has been a writer and actress since the age of 9 and has received Emmy, Golden Globe, and Independent Spirit Award nominations for her work in television and film, which includes General HospitalJoan of Arcadia, House M.D., The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and 127 Hours. She is the author of two books of poetry: Free Stallion and Bang Ditto. She is the creator of the annual poetry series, The Drums Inside Your Chest, and co-founded the nonprofit Write Now Poetry Society. Currently, she writes for The Poetry Foundation and has a poetry book review column in BUST. She is currently working on her next book and shooting Anatomy of Violence, a CBS pilot written and produced by the creators of Homeland. She lives in New York City with her dog and that one guy from Arrested Development.

Awkwafina Photo lowres  Born Nora Lum, Awkwafina is a New York City-based rapper and producer from Forest Hills, Queens. She made her musical debut in October 2012 with the viral video "My Vag," a parody of Mickey Avalon's "My Dick." Her musical style has since been compared to a swagger-hybrid of Darth Vader and Charo. She currently resides in Brooklyn.
