Shilpah Ray's Video for 'Nocturnal Emission' Turns the Tables on Reproductive Rights Issue

It's finally the end of a really scary election year; one in which men tried to take away our rights and take control of our bodies.  To celebrate the protection of our rights, let's check out this wild music video that flips the issue of reproductive rights on its head.

Shilpa Ray, of the really awesome Brooklyn blues-punk band Shilpa Ray and Her Happy Hookers, commented on the red hot issue of reproductive rights in her new music video for the song “Nocturnal Emissions.”

The video opens with a dude whacking it in bed when suddenly, a group of enraged Tea Party-like protestors bust in and attack.  The women end up being an overzealous anti-male masturbation political group, and Ray is depicted as the leader, yelling “Conceive!” to a huge mass of followers.

“What would the conversation be like," Ray wrote on her Facebook page, "if we were discussing male reproductive rights?”
