Located on Governor’s Island, the 2-day beachside fest is self-described as “a boutique approach to a New York City music festival.” It takes place beneath August’s blue moon and is framed by the glittering Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty; AKA this will be the perfect opportunity to up your Instagram game. *winks* Full Moon features not only live music, but also a variety of art installations and an array of yummy culinary options. The lineup is hella rad, too, and you can check it out in full here on the festival’s website.

A fun-loving, zine-making, dog-chasing dork who has a lot to say about a lot of things. My life goals include dismantling the heteronormative white patriarchy via various mediums of intersectional feminist art, living on an urban farm with a lot of pet sheep, and walking my dogs (preferably a herd of Corgis). Oh, and publishing a short story collection is on the list, too.
