none! I'm not into food that early, I'm more into break fasting.


The most delicious amazing tofu wrap, courtesy of the peeps at Common Ground. They have some secret tofu seasoning that is just orgasmic.


Noodles? With some butter and parm.


I'll be having some cookie dough ice cream later. smile.gif
awesome soup i made myself with kale, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, lentils & brown rice, made with vegetable stock i made myself too!

it tastes so much better when you're proud of it biggrin.gif
breakfast / lunch - leftover mince and potatoes

dinner - a whole frozen pizza fresh from the oven (it wasn't that big..) and 3 vodka lemonades.

woo! I'm such a pillar of healthy eating I can't even stand it....

let's see...

I've had

2 satsumas

probably about 2 or 3 servings of mixed raw nuts

1 apple with raw almond butter

brown rice fusilli with halved cherry tomatoes, basil, turnip/collard etc greens, olive oil, and sheeps' milk feta

square 85% valrhona

ginger tea


breakfast- nothing, unfortunately.
lunch- went to a family gathering and ate a huge pile of salad (romaine, chickpeas, tomatoes, shredded cheddar, and homemade honey mustard), some baked ziti, some more pasta with ricotta and broccoli, garlic bread, then a slice of ice cream cake and a cup of lemony tea
dinner- a whole wheat bagel with some earth balance

so far today:
breakfast: hot chocolate
lunch: garlicky rice noodles
breakfast: I made Nigella Lawson's Go Get 'Em smoothie with banana, soya milk, peanut butter (instead of coffee), honey,
ovaltine powder
honey shreddies with soya milk and chopped banana

small lunch: two prawn wontons, two mini prawn toast and two veg spring rolls

dinner: weightwatcher's sausages with veg mash and cider gravy

snack: two yellow plums
turkish apple tea and slice of toast and honey
lots of water
Brunch: Organic granola cereal w/ 2% milk (cinnamon raisin flavor); water to drink
Dinner: spinach/ricotta manicotti ; water to drink
snack: sugarfree/fat free pudding parfait

Breakfast ~ Potato and Egg Taco and Iced Cafe con Leche
Lunch ~ School Cafeteria Chicken Nuggets
Dinner ~ Yummy Chicken Spaghetti

and the usual ~ tea, water, coke, water, tea, tea
Breakfast: Granola with almonds and raisins w/milk, ice water

Snack: Wheat crackers with swiss cheese

Lunch: Cheddar cheese omelette, ice water

Dinner: Roasted vegetables (mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini, squash, red pepper) on focaccia bread with balsamic viniagrette and mozzerella, baby greens w/ more balsamic viniagrette, sweet tea

breakfast: blueberry waffles with maple syrup
lunch: pasta tossed with broccoli, garlic, olive oil, and feta cheese
snack: blondies (yum...)
dinner: sweet potatoes with cinnamon and brown sugar and leftover pasta (maybe some homemade biscuits...haven't gotten there yet.)
crepes covered with cherries and a cherry syrup
water with lemon

grilled cheese(organic whole grain bread and colby jack cheese)
hot cocoa

an apple with peanut butter

high fiber, high protein bread
cottage cheese, sliced tomato, pickled cucumber
tea w skim ecological milk

handful of salted pumpkin seeds

ecol. quinoa w lots of cinnamon & chili, 2 organic free-range eggs,
brussel sprouts, ecol. grean peas, thai sauce w big white beans & chickpeas

lots of tap water w raspberries

Breakfast: Kashi Cocoa Beach granola with milk (omg yum!!!)

Lunch: Whole wheat ravioli with 4-cheese filling and smothered in pesto, fresh green beans

Snack: thick slice of chocolate chip-pecan-banana bread (fresh-baked...yum)

Dinner: black beans, tortillas, onions, and cheddar cheese baked together and topped with sour cream

Dessert: Strawberry topped cheesecake


breakfast: two small slices of seeded batch bread toasted; one spread with honey, the other with black cherry conserve
a mug of choco chai

lunch: salmon fishcakes in chilli and red pepper oil
toulouse sausages with creamy mash and onion gravy
two glasses of champagne
shared 2 litres bottle of water

more water

dinner: small bowl of bunnymama's spaghetti bolognese with a few slices of garlic bread

more water
Regalo (a Mexican pumpkin pastry type thing)
A huge mug of hot coffee

Crappy School cafeteria cheeseburger

I think I am going to make couscous with raisins, cranberries, and honey.
And lots of coffee

Breakfast: Two bowls of cinnamon life cereal with chocolate soy milk

Lunch: Vegetable soup and a banana. Drank water.

Dinner: Vegan pesto sauce over rigatoni noodles. Drank orange juice.

Dessert: Vegan birthday cake (I just turned 23 on Monday!) Drank orange juice.

Breakfast: Life cereal with milk

Lunch: Cheese omelette and baked plantains topped with cinnamon and brown sugar

Snack: Potato chips

Dinner: Leftover veggie pizza

Dessert: Cookies


Breakfast: Bluberry waffles with syrup

Lunch: Homemade biscuits and some pasta with pesto

Not sure about the rest yet.
Breakfast: water, black tea w/ milk, an apple.

Lunch: NOT my choice but, a philly chicken sandwich, the smallest one on the menu, and a few frys.

Dinner: a green superfood drink, braised mix greens w/ carrots, onions, garlic, broccoli, and mushrooms, with beans on the side, and these little bite-sized chicken dumplings. I ate this kinda late, & now, when I lay down my f*cking stomach hurts, I've been woken up twice already, and lying flat it hurts like shit, but when I sit up it stops hurting blink.gif , so I am busting at 3:15am. wink.gif

Breakfast: train station cinnamon bun, and upon returning home, a cup of green tea with honey and some rye porridge with milk and maple syrup

Lunch: vegetarian salad buffet (lotsa vinegary lentil salads, pasta salad, potato salad with arugula, red cabbage salad), bread, lemon water, latte

Dinner: roasted eggplant and tomato with oil and balsamic, and bulgarian cheese on top, rice, and a salad of baby spinach, kiwi, avocado, onion, raisins, and sesame seeds.

Snack: slice of bread and rooibos tea with soymilk and honey

Breakfast: Baked oatmeal with cinnamon, brown sugar, and walnuts
Snack: Kit-Kat candy bar
Lunch: Cheese ravioli with tomato sauce, yummy bread with olive oil, salad with viniagrette
Dinner: Um...some more baked oatmeal, then later some salad with feta and some garlic bread (sort of just up too late watching MSNBC primary coverage and writing papers for school...)

Today will be:

Breakfast: Cinnamon oatmeal and a glass of orange juice

Lunch: Vegan Chicken Noodle Soup and a spinach salad

Dinner: I have stuff to do so it will probably just be something easy like a baked potato and veggie soup?
Breakfast (at 5:30am): King size Pay Day
20oz Dr. Pepper

Lunch and dinner is always one meal....Will probably be Popeyes fried chicken.

My eating habits suck. I will probably have a heart attack in my future.

Breakfast: (same as usual) green tea with honey, rye porridge with vanilla yogurt and lingonberry jam, toast with butter, a banana

Lunch: back to vegetarian salad buffet- creamy potato salad, chickpea salad, coleslaw, couscous with grilled veggies, bread, and a latte

Dinner: leftovers from last night- green lentils with onion and tomato paste, bulgarian cheese on top (soooo good), and oily roasted sweet potatoes with red onions.

Now: rooibos tea with soymilk. And I'm craving something sweet...
Breakfast ~ Bowl of Raisin Bran Crunch with 1% milk
Lunch ~ Two Beef Empanadas
Dinner ~ Chicken Nuggets and Organic Fries all made in the oven
Breakfast: Freshly baked (by me) brownie with walnuts
Lunch: Mozzerella sticks (a ton of them) and Pepsi - my stomach hates me
Dinner: A cheese sandwich on wheat bread

Wow, what a bad day, food-wise.

Dinner ~ Fish Tacos
Breakfast: Three pieces of toast with vegan cream cheese and chocolate soy milk to drink.

Lunch: Tomato soup and a sandwich(soy cheese, tofurky and veganaise)

Dinner: We're going to have pasta with marinara with bread and oil. Yum!! Oh and wine. Can't forget the wine.
i am recovering from wisdom tooth extraction so i've been eating fluidy foods...i don't have all that much of a sweet tooth so i was pretty sick of ice cream...i scrounged around in my fridge and ended up making a spectacular, if simple, potato soup. delish.
I went thru that last month, too.
I was craving chips and salsa, too!!!
I got a little crazy and bought 6 , yes count em 6 boxes of girl scout cookies.

I finished the first box of thin mints.

Why are these like the best cookies ever?

oh and they are all in the freezer.
ladyj my thin mints are on the way! Freezer storage is definitely the way to go.

I'm getting two more next week.

Gosh, I don't know why I can't gain weight, I've been eating so much lately and I can't seem to put on the pounds :S
I am trying to avoid those sneaky little girl scouts and their little cookies that have some kind of crack in them...
but I am thinking that the next time I see them I am going to have to give in and by like 4 boxes blink.gif
I had gluten free pasta today, (I got them by accident rolleyes.gif )

I do not recommend that stuff, unlike you really have no choice because of celiacs disease.

They turned into such a sorry, soggy gunk, yuck!
Pigged out for brunch and made: 2 pork sausages with black pudding and bramley apple, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 potato scones, 1 tomato and some ketchup
mug of sweet everyday tea made with soya milk

snacks/drinks: a nectarine
a one-a-day serving of blueberries
a banana
2 glasses of apple juice, 1 of pineapple

dinner: made spaghetti with prawns, tomatoes, red onion and basil (yummy)
lots of water

late snack: bowl of cherries and green grapes
Breakfast: plain yogurt with granola, earl grey with honey.

Lunch: a big yellow pepper stuffed with green lentils and onions and bulgarian cheese! and rice on the side. water and rooibos tea.

Snack: some kind of pastry that was filled with custard and covered in sugar.

Dinner: spicy cream of carrot soup that my friend made, bread with butter and cheese, lotsa organic red wine, and some chocolate.

Now: leftover tomato-tuna sauce (meant to be eaten over pasta, scarfed cold by hungry and slightly drunk me)
Good eats today!

Breakfast: earl grey with honey. plain yogurt with granola, mangoes, bananas and maple syrup.

Lunch: leftover soup- sweet potato, carrot, ginger, coconut milk, and lime. 2 pices of rye toast with goat cheese and honey.

Snack: vanilla ice cream with maple syrup. rooibos tea with soymilk.

Diiner: a frittata wuth onions, potatoes, spinach, and hot sauce, goat cheese on top. coconut rice. salad with mixed greens, avocado, cucumber, kiwi, and red onion.
Breakfast ~ Pan de Huevo and a glass of water

Lunch ~ School Cafeteria chicken and rice.... ugh!!!
Dr. Pepper, the machine was out of Coke... I needed caffiene

Dinner will be ~ Fried Fish with Fries and a Salad
Lots of Sweet tea

Lots of water all day
Breakfast- the usual (yogurt, granola, banana, earl grey with soy).

Lunch- cheap sushi special- 5 pieces of sushi with miso soup and green tea.

Snack- some homemade coconut rice pudding and toast with butter and jam.

Dinner (with pals)- spinach-feta-tomato-pine nut filo pie, salad with mixed greens, orange, carrot, cucumber, and onion, really good German white beer, and for desert, whipped cream with vanilla bean and mangoes, and dark chocolate. A pot of rooibos tea to finish the evening.
my amazing chef friend cooked me a mind-blowing birthday dinner:

--ricotta, tomato, basil & anchovy pizza/focaccia

--scallops with lemon, chayote squash & avocado sauce

--strawberry rhubarb cobbler with buttermilk ice cream

eaten outside under the stars with outstandingly fantastic people, excellent wine, and beirut on the stereo. i am so lucky.
I just inhaled two grands biscuits and a coke... I feel like the damn pilsbury dough boy
breakfast: english muffin topped with strawberry jam
lunch: big bowl of freshly made potato and corn chowder
snack: some caramel popcorn
impromptu b-day celebration for someone i know: a slice of Louisiana Crunch cake
dinner: a bowl of Life cereal
Boring food day...

Breakfast-Cinnamon Cheerios with chocolate soy milk

Lunch-Tomato soup and a sandwich(soy cheese, soy turkey and veganaise)

Dinner-Faux chicken and corn on the cob
breakfast: homemade belgan blueberry waffles

lunch: "texas style" veggie burger with nayonase

dinner: burrito with homemade refried beans, mock cheese, salsa and grated carrots

snack after dinner because i was addicted: A few tortilla chips dipped in the mock cheese sauce
Breakfast: (dinner leftovers) panko-crusted tofu steak, brown rice, broccoli, 1/2 slice vegan chocolate cake

Lunch: handful of dates

Now: cup of cashew carrot ginger soup (from a carton) and tofu salad and spinach in a whole wheat pita.

Later: Hopefully nothing too junky, as I had a physical today and learned I've gained 8 pounds in the last year. I'll probably want to unwind after class with a drink though, since my boyfriend will be home.
Breakfast: earl grey with milk, thick slice of ultimate banana bread (with choc. chips, coconut, and walnuts)

Lunch: a fried egg, sliced tomato and avocado, goat cheese, and some grapes

Snack: 2 more pieces of banana bread, rooibos tea, and leftover red quinoa salad with apples, cabbage, and walnuts

Dinner: homemade borscht (mostly beets and red cabbage, also with carrots and fennel, and topped with sour cream), more banana bread, white wine

Too much banana bread.
