i'm not eating as much as i used to eat before, because i'm taking these pills to lose weight (tonalin and hydroxycut) and they make me so nauseous! they say that i should eat after taking these pills so i won't get nauseous, but i don't have any appetite, so it kind of defeats the purpose sad.gif
We had leftovers from Easter brunch at work. The ham was good, the sushi was pretty good as well. However, I tried a piece of the foie gras pate, and I almost died. It was so. frelling. gross. It tasted horrible. I popped a big chunk in my mouth and must have made the worst bad-taste-face because the butcher looked at me and said, "Did you just eat that nasty-ass pate?"

I wanted to spit it out, but I couldn't. I had to continue chewing and swallow that crud. Yucko.

The ham, though. The ham was perfect. It had some kind of dried fruit sauce on it, which was slightly sweet, and it was nice and tender and juicy. Yummo.

Dude. I am so hungry right now. Maybe there are some leftovers in the fridge.

Yesterday I had:

Half of a bagel, with PB for breakfast . . . .

. . . . and then half of medium pizza with Le Man (only 3 slices but still, ew) for lunch/dinner.

And half of a brownie for dessert.

I guess it was a Half Day. happy.gif
Half a vegan breakfast burrito

sandwich: sprouted multigrain bread, tofurkey, lettuce, eggplant, red peppers, cucumber, sprouts, tahini

double chocolate ABC cookie

a handful of dates
A few slices of pizza - spinach, mushroom, and garlic.

For a snack right now: plain goat yogurt with blueberry flaxseed granola.
Dinner: Chicken Caesar salad and a large bottle of Pelligrino
Ooh, this is fun!

Yesterday: Fav breakfast - Toasted bagel with oodles of butter and cream cheese at this local diner where farmers come for their breakfasts (I recently moved from Toronto to the middle of farm country... well, small town anyway, I miss ethnic food but the diner stuff is cheap and fab).

Lunch: Indian food buffet. I was craving indian food so bad (see comment above) that I got JoyBoy to drive with me 45 minutes each way into the city (not Toronto) for indian food. I still haven't found anything as good as the indian food in T.O. I sometimes think of taking the 4 hour drive back there just to go to one particular restaurant.

Dinner: Frozen Lasagna from a box. JoyBoy and I had our dishwasher recently break - and we've been lazy about the huge pile of dishes in our sink, hence the eating out and frozen food when usually l *love* to cook.
breakfast: strawberries, gala and canteloupe melon, green grapes.

snack: handful of cashew nuts

later snack: small bunch of red grapes

lunch/dinner: chicken stirfry with spring onion, green pepper, mushrooms, pineapple and cashew nuts

snack: four small pieces of chocolate and handful of haribo sweets

a lot of water
Lately for breakfast every morning I've been eating toast with "Hemp Hearts" on top of it. Apparently it helps to aid in weight loss. Hemp Hearts are like Hemp seeds or something. Not too sure, my stepmother brought them home and told me they really work and to start eating them.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Slice of toast with butter in the am along with some fresh strawberries, pineapple and cantaloupe, gads of coffee

Lunch: Chipolte Carnitas tacos and a glass of ice water with lemon

Dinner: Homemade Grilled chicken pizza and a couple of beers

Snack: Julie's Organic Chocolate Ice Cream. Yum yum.
Am I going to have to double post? No one ate today except me???

Breakfast: Coffee with h/h

Lunch: Huge tossed Chef Salad with blue cheese dressing and a cheddar jalapeño bread stick and a glass of ice water with lemon

what can I say, lazy saturday grazing....working on term papers calls for many snacks. However, looking at everyone elses posts, I feel like I am eating WAY too much. I do exercise 5-6 days a week. Plus, I feel hungry all the time, any suggestions for staying full?? I try to add protein but that doesn't seem to help.

Breakfast- chocolate covered strawberry candies and chocolate with coffee beans, a glass of water.

Yuck. I feel like crap now. Is there some sort of diet that gets rid of a sweet tooth, or do I have to go cold turkey? My mom has diabetes so I really shouldn't be eating all that sugar.

voodoo princess here.....
actually MaybeSparrow, it is recommended to eat 6 small meals a day and that still allows for small snacks, as the healthiest way to eat..... from what I see you are making good choices with your foods and you don't seem to be eating "too much"..... if you are actually that active as to work out 5 or 6 days a week, then of course you are going to be hungry because you are healthy, or becoming that way, and your metabolism is adjusting..... if you were just sitting about all day everyday, then that would be different but you sound to be doing OK to me..... Sounds like you are burning more than you consume and that is prime...... way to go!!!!!
Breakfast: Went to a great restaurant with my boyfriend. Between the two of us we managed to scarf: Wild Blueberry Pancakes, fruit platter, mushroom omelet with chevre and onions, hashbrowns, toast, midwestern breakfast tea. YUM YUM YUM

Snack: Yogurt and a Pear, water

Lunch: Salmon and linguine with lemon and dill sauce lean cuisine, minute maid lite lemonade

Snack: Small bowl of special K with berries, cup of tea

Dinner: Broccoli and carrots, another bowl of cereal, big bottle of water, sugar free jello

Dessert: Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

Snack: Half a pita with turkey, cup of tea, minute maid with lemon

Plus a few Werthers toffees, a couple of bites of frozen cool whip, and one or two pretzals. The breakfast was pretty big so I ate lighter throughout the rest of the day

Don't worry, we all do this, but its especially gross feeling when you do it first thing in the morning. Starting out on the wrong foot I guess...
One way is to replace sweets with fruit and yogurt. Sometimes I put a yogurt in the freezer for about half an hour and its like ice cream, I also eat lots of fruit. You get the sugar fix, but not such a sugar crash. You can put a little cool whip or Hershey's syrup on certain fruits like bananas and strawberries too. I wouldn't go cold turkey or you will end up binging later, but just try and substitute more healthy sweet things. Good Luck
heh, that's funny, the only way I got rid of sweets -was- to go cold turkey. Everyone's different I guess =) But then, I'm more of a salty kinda gal!
