lol and you could sit and spin.

i could use the ignore feature, but your stupidity is too fucking funny.

what can i say, 10 watt? this lady likes an easy laugh.

since you're too dense to actually get it, 10 watt, let me clue you in on something: you don't make me angry. not even close. check out the tone i have with debbie. that's me mad. i curse and i really get mean, but you? heh. you have all of what, 3 braincells, and 2 synapses between them? you're comedy 10watt. i love tearing you a new asshole. really. that's my idea of fun. i get read the riot act around here cos i tear busties a new assholes too. so you? you? you're like a braindead little xmas present for me. you're like a bonus round on a video game. you're easy pickins. fish in a barrel. you don't piss me off, you make me smile. cos i just salivate at the opportunity to talk shit about someone, and i don't have to play nice with you. you're too stupid to get half of the insults i use on you.

10watt, insulting you is as much fun as watching dumb people on youtube-- i could do it all day!

wow, 10 watt steve, did your mommy write that for you? after all we all know the problems you have with writing sentences. why don't you go upstairs and have her make you some cocoa, hmmmmn, 10 watt? don't forget to have her change your diaper, too. you're smelling ripe again.

yup. pretty good feminist policy here, debbie. while busties are looking for support in some of the more sensitive threads, 10 watt here comes in and pisses all over it.

and you do NOTHING.

i wouldn't be so disgusted if i didn't know it would take so little work on your part. but i know better.
steve thinks that he pisses me off, or gets me angry, nothing could be further from the truth. in all honesty, he's a pissant. he's a joke-- and a tiresome, poorly written one at that. no, what makes me angry is that you could care so little for the busties who find solace on your site debbie. that the pain that they are going thru, that pain and the comfort they find here is little more than an after thought to you.

that. that pisses me off.

all the women that i've met in my life, all of them have had to make some fucking hard decisions in their life. and sometimes they couldn't talk to the people in their immediate sphere, they had to look somewhere else. it may be an abusive relationship, it may be choices they've had to make, it could be medical issues, or whatever. but i admired those women-- women who remind me of so many women i've met here in the lounge. these are some of the brightest, smartest, warmest, funniest, loveliest women i have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. and that you would think so FUCKING LITTLE OF THEM, debbie, that you leave the fence open, that you would just as soon throw them to the wolves by way of your carelessness, burns me up, debbie.

busties deserve someone better in charge of this site, because your insouciance does them a grave disservice.

nah. i'm seeing your avi too, polly.

and i agree about the troll posts. and just now there is a spam post in the empress' thread. the trolls are increasing and we hear nothing from you.

here it is wednesday-- almost a week from the first troll attack and we have heard nothing, debbie.

the troll's posts still stand. the porn pix are still there, the only thing we do have is inaction from you.

and as we all know, that doesn't add up to shit.

when will these things be important to you, debbie? when the lounge is overrun? when even oldschool busties leave in disgust because of your neglect? what will it take debbie?

we had quite an attack, here over the weekend. and i think we need to do that trolligator thing.
i have to tell you, debbie i am very disappointed. this could have been easily dispatched.

it may not be priority to you, but it is to us.

i get that you are busy, but in our emails i gave you a lot of trust, but right now i am starting to feel my trust was abused. i don't care who you have as the trolligator, but we need one. you said you wanted to give it a shot, but then it seems to have slipped your mind, inspite of reminders.

i gave you credit and plenty of latitude last time, but i fear my trust was misplaced.
i've said this before--i am fucking sick of the lounge being treated like bust's redheaded stepchild. other busties may simply wait on the sidelines waiting for you to do something when ever you feel it's needed, but i won't.

i tried being reasonable to no avail. this-- this neglect, this inaction is too much. it is inexcusable.

i honestly wish you would shit or get off the pot. you say that you care about the lounge, yet you don't care enough to have any sort of person watching for trolls or spam in any meaningful way. since LLLysa has left it is glaring how much of an absentee slum lord you are when it comes to the lounge.

almost a week, and not even a peep?

how can you say you really care about the lounge?

i call bullshit on that. it would have taken so little effort to appoint a trolligator, yet there is none.
we discussed this more than a month ago, yet nothing?

not even a word.

ETA: i have respected the discretion you asked of me in our pms, but i am considering posting them. i took you and your offers seriously. it seems you did not take me seriously.

Hey, can we get rid of the porn and general trollery around here? It's been there since this weekend!

Am I the only one not seeing my avatar?

hey everyone, thanks so much for your patience with the switchover. I promise that, once it's all said and done, things will actually be better around here. This week we're sending BUST off to print, so I have less and less time to work on the site (back to working on it full time next week, though). Please hang tight; everything will soon be solved.

As for the server not being available the other day, the entire server was down (no idea why). I had my host restart it and then it was back on. So yeah, for about 5 hours in the middle of the nite it was completely down. Sorry!

sillygrrl: i'm really concerned about your login issues. Is anybody else experiencing similar issues?

Sillygrrl, can you login if you uncheck the "remember me" box ?And can you also try going direct from the front page of the lounge, by clicking the 'register' link?

thx all.

img code doesn't seem to want to work. it deletes any code i use.
no many how many times or ways i try to edit and add it.

silly grrl, you might want to email debbie@bust.com instead.

me four: server not found.

on firefox and (shudder) explorer.

not sure what time it was when i gave up.

also, not that it is that big of a deal: when i highlight text to apply html code to it, the highlighted portion only lasts for two codes - for example, color and size. then it reverts and i have to highlight again to apply any other code. not impossible to deal with, but annoying.

Now, I am not only avatar-less (I tried deleting cookies as Lounge Lady advised... sad.gif ) but I had to change my user name & email addy to even get in.
I tried logging on as usual, by clicking on the link in My Favorites, as usual (nothing),
then, tried logging on by entering my user name/password (didn't work),
got 3 new passwords assigned by the site(didn't work),
sent a convo to loungelady@bust.com explaining my plight (was returned as "rejected by remote mail server)
Now, I am reborn.
Any idea what happened & how I can get an avatar??
*puppy eyes*

I had the same issue this morning, used both bust.com and bustmag.com, and was getting "server not found". this lasted until about 2pm uk time (so... 9am NYC time, I think).

bunny, i don't know why you were unable to access the lounge... that's very mysterious. let me know when it happens again, and also post the exact error message you recieve. thanks!

Happened again for a few hours today, LL. Tried on both Friefox and Safari, using bookmark and typing in old and new address and even googled the lounge and used that link but each time it said server not found; every other site I tried worked fine.

hey, here are some answers:

-the bustmag.com/lounge was just a temp url until the rest of the site got moved to the new server. IT's back to bust.com/lounge

-the decision was made by the art dept. to stop rotating backgrounds on the site and just leave it at this black one with stripes. They felt the other backgrounds were too distracting. It's the same one that's used on the entire rest of the site. Sorry!

- i hope to get to the avatar uploading issues soon, and the login one too. I'd suggest clearing the bust lounge cookie from your browser if possible, and see if that helps.

Is anyone else stuck on the black background with the horizontal stripes? I hate it. It makes me feel like I'm trapped in Hot Topic.

polly, who knows what's going on? I think some of us have been lucky because we have the lounge bookmarked and it reroutes us to the old address.

Perhaps it has somehting to do with the background no longer changing. I have to say: if it ain't broke in the first place, don't fix it.

Uhh, when did the url go from bustmag.com/lounge back to bust.com/lounge, as it was before the server migration?

I couldn't get on the site all day Thursday and thought, "they wouldn't have changed the url, would they? nooo, they wouldn't do that without telling me!" blink.gif Then I tried it on a whim and here I am....I feel like I lost a day. sad.gif

OK, now I'm peeved. mad.gif
I'm trying to change my avatar (the one I was using was my dog,Daisy, who passed away from a brain tumor *sobs*) & the site keeps telling me the image I'm selecting is too big. It even said that when I tried to re-enter Daisy's pic! It says "Image Scale" is on & that will resize the pic to an appropriate size, but I guess not, huh? WTF? Can someone help?
