This year I've decided to go all out for the month of December so I've been spending a lot of time looking at unique, crafty, holiday decorations. Sass&Peril's Doughnut Ornaments totally caught my eye! Since I like to incorporate food into every aspect of my life, I think these would be perfect. But I'm pretty sure I'll be finding more than enough new treats at the BUST Holiday Craftacular this Sunday. If you're in New York and looking for the perfect way to kick off...

AND because my throbbing blueballs hurt for this Sunday (the annual BUST Holiday Craftacular in NYC. DUH). These  blueballs can only be satisfied by sneaking online.  There, I look at a plethora of indie, handmade ware in the privacy of a dark bedroom.  Sweet relief. Until Sunday, at least, when I get to go all the way.  One of the crafters that really gets me going is Ink and Wit.  Her prints, notecards, and invitations are simply beautiful.  I can't wait to stalk her booth...

Pillows for the People (you guessed it, another vendor at Bust's Craftacular!) is a New York based company started by Parisa Karimi, and is each pillow handmade by her.  Using vintage fabrics, these lavender filled pillows are really something special.   Some of her famous clients include Leo DiCaprio and Patti Smith.   These would make a lovely addition to any home.   Photo courtesy of Pillow by the People's website....

Are you looking for the perfect present for a foodie friend?  Have a friend who loves the Day of the Dead?  Have a painter friend?  Have a friend who just LOVES chocolate?  Well look no further. Painter Girl Chocolates (another vendor at Bust's Craftacular this weekend) has the cutest chocolates I've seen in a while!  Their products include animal print chocolate bars, Frida Kahlo chocolate bars (made with dark chocolate, chillies and cinnamon) and paint palette bars!  These are too pretty to eat!...

Barking Maddison will be at this weekends Craftacular, and I've got to say, I'm glad.  Look at how cute these bags are!  Among other items handmade by Barking Maddison are leather belts and cuffs with personalized messages,  like lyrics or poems.  Items are made with vintage fabric and wallpaper.  They can be found on Etsy.com. But I claim this bag for myself!     Photo courtesy of Barking Maddison on Etsy....

I don't know about you, but I'm always looking for a cool, different scent to make me smell pretty, and especially after reading the latest issue of Bust, I've even considered making my own.  But now I don't have to!  Lollibomb Beauty is a "one chick indie business" that creates pretty fancy sounding scents.  TOBACCO ROAD, for instance, is made with fresh pressed tobacco leaves, mandarin, bergamot, and Italian neroli. I personally can not wait to try out KISS AND TELL which "will get you to...

Sunday! Craftacular! If you haven't noticed, we're getting pretty stoked for this weekend's event. With over 200 exciting vendors such as Charlie and Sarah, it's sure to be one of the yummiest gatherings this holiday season. We're loving their Dirty Loves Clean Nana's Kitchen Soap. This English-inspired, collaborative soap (Charlie and Sarah are in cahoots with Dirty Loves Clean, hence the name) boasts some pretty impressive features. Handmade. Vegan. Coffee Infused. What more could you ask for? How about free coffee to boot? Your favorite BUST-ie...

Down here at BUST headquarters, we're eagerly awaiting Sunday for the Craftacular. So to give you all a little taste of what to expect at this slammin' event, we're highlighting some of the goods that will be at this shindig.   The Hand of Fatima makes some fascinating products that seem kind of mystical and magical for the wearer. The Double Agent necklace could've belonged to a KGB spy in a past life. (It's rally a WWII observer's decoration, for you history buffs). The winged piece surely...

Snag a cute couple at the BUST Holiday Craftacular this weekend! This adorable handmade porcelain duo makes a perfect gift or an unbelievably sweet centerpiece for your next holiday gathering. From KG + AB, one of the many amazing vendors at our Holiday Craftacular this Sunday at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. The days are counting down to the holidays, so make sure you give some special gifts, and what better place to buy them at our very own Craftacular. Stop by between...

For those of you old enough to remember Sassy (RIP), there's a new kid in town that's helping to fill those smart-content-for-young-independent-gals shoes: I Heart Daily is a free email newsletter that hits your inbox with "the band you should hear, the girl who’s kicking ass in the world, the lipstick color that looks good on everyone, the designer who doesn’t have a fashion show yet but is completely amazing...you get the idea." They often have cool teens write guest posts and are always interviewing...
