The BUST Craftacular friends behind London's Ladyfest Ten have announced a weekend of laid-back crafting to complement its festival line-up taking place in London from November 12 to 14.
Not only is there a "Crumble" taking place on Saturday November 14 at the Horatia pub – as delicious as it sounds, a mix of crafting and a jumble sale –ticket holders will also be able to retreat to the Lady Garden, a "relaxed utopia of creativity and craftivism", on both the Saturday and the Sunday.
The gals of Tatty Devine will be on hand to help fix and transform old jewellery, there'll be old-school vegetable printing, banner-making with the Craftivist collective; while the Shoreditch Sisters WI will be hosting a lesson on how to knit and crochet boobs, to donate to help with breastfeeding education, and also how to embroider a vagina as part of a craftivist campaign against female genital mutilation. "Come and create lady bits." Why not.
