Debbie Tuch, BUST Craftacular vendor and the artistic mastermind behind Glitterlimes was given the wonderful opportunity of decorating the Christmas tree at Lincoln Square in Dante Park this year for the 11th Annual Winter’s Eve festival that took place Monday night. Having just moved here from San Francisco, being able to decorate the tree was a wonderful welcome to the city for Tuch, and a great way for her to get her adorable, glitzy pieces noticed. She adorned the tree, which you can go check out for yourself at 63rd and Broadway, with her handmade candy and fruit ornaments, which she makes using real fruit and sweets that are preserved and then coated with a very durable (and weather-proof) glitter resin. Glitterlimes, which can be visited here, has been in business for 14 years, and makes not only Christmas tree ornaments, but jewelry and accessories as well. You can come check out their beautiful assortment of glittering gems next Sunday, December 12th, at the BUST Magazine Craftacular Holiday 2010, and pick up some sweet decorations to make your tree sparkle.
