For the past two days, I've been walking around singing "when you're an Addams/Bababababababababa." Which is half real song, and half nonsense because I can never remember the lyrics to anything. Another vendor that will be attending London’s Craftacular is Rebecca Coffee’s Millinery. Coffee is a Milliner from London. She has been making hats for almost 2 years, since she quit her office job to do something more creative. With a degree in Textiles already under her belt, she enrolled in a Millinery class at Kensington and Chelsea College. She loved the course so much that she completed the full time program this past summer. Coffee uses a variety of different materials in her designs. Read More
Jill Soloway- Emmy Award-winning writer, director, feminist, friend of and collaborator wit Diablo Cody, recently posted a new short film, All In the Waiting. According to them, "Soloway and writer/actress Frankie Shaw challenged themselves to make a short in 24 hours. ALL IN THE WAITING was made this for one day on earth, an on-line film festival that asked people to show a slice o' their world. Read More
It is a true fact that 2009 sucked for many many people. Last year marked the beginning of some pretty major changes in a lot of lives due to loss of jobs, re-location, failed relationships, etc., and Brooklyn based artist Lilly McElroy is providing an outlet to share them (or vent them) with her 2009 was a rough year project.  Anyone who wishes to become a part of this community based project is encouraged to do so by submitting a photograph representing their rough year.
