New York has not always been the safe, overpriced playground for the rich. Sure, cities change but comparatively NYC is now a child’s wonderland compared to what it was in the seventies. Left to crumble into both financial and physical ruin by president Ford, who refused to help the city pay off its debts, lower New York City was sent into a state of heavy decline. Times were bleak. I LOVE KIM GORDON, as a teenager i feel in love with her in Sonic Youth as she fueled my dreams of one day being a cool girl in a band. As a twenty something, i discovered her art work, acting, voice over in The Simpsons, clothing line, writing and a new level of respect for females. Is there anything this woman can't do?
