My final update on Copenhagen, since right now I am in Stockholm. Copenhagen's Fashion Week officially ends on the 15th, so I am missing two days of festivities. But honestly, it's rather nice to get to relax for a day or two before Stockholm Fashion Week starts. Tomorrow I am going to explore an area called SoFo- South of Folkungagatan, it's supposed to be like the Soho of New York, so I am going to go check it out and take some photos. If anyone has any suggestions of things I should go see or do in Stockholm, please post!

Wednesday night the Algonquin Hotel in N.Y.C took the liberty of putting the cat back in “catwalk”. Matilda, the Algonquin’s most beloved, and furriest, resident celebrated her 15th birthday in style by holding a feline fashion show in the hotel’s lobby. The show was hosted by John Fulton who, when he’s not introducing kitties in couture, hosts Animal Planet’s Must Love Cats. Here are a few of my personal favorite “looks” of the night:
Robert Cat-tinson even made an appearance!

greetings again from copenhagen!
so these past few days I have been photographing outside near Copenhagen City Hall, where Fashion week is being held. Essentially, the city of Copenhagen has planned all of these events in association with Fashion Week. This morning I went to a store opening with bubbles (b/c nothing is more awesome than playing with bubbles and buying Japanese clothes- nothing) and it had a great sale b/c of Fashion Week. Read More

Betsey Johnson celebrated her 68th birthday last night at her boutique in Soho, and arrived in style on a hot pink bike! Don't you just love her? She's a fashion icon that got her start in the 60's with the Warhol set and has been churning out fun, ultra-girly fashions ever since. She is definitely one of our top 10, all time favorite ladies- Happy Birthday Betsey!

My name is Caroline, and this is my first time posting on BUST's blog. Some info about me: I am a recent college graduate and semi un-employed/freelancer photographer, I interned for BUST two years ago, I love Pillsbury roll-out pie crusts and anything that involves the word lemon or tart (preferably together but whatever), and I'm in the process of applying to grad school. I shoot street style and lots and lots of portraiture. I am also obsessed with film and dabble in digital photography. Alliteration is also something I adore. Read More

Today marks the 248th day of Marisa Lynch's eco-friendly fashion project New Dress A Day. The goal: renew 365 articles of used clothing in 365 days, for 365 dollars. Transitively, a new dress for just a dollar a day. When Lynch was laid off last November, she channeled the change positively, inspired by the movie Julie & Julia. “[Julie] was finding something to do every day that made her feel great. I was jealous. I thought, I want to find that. Read More

Betty White just gets cooler every day. I don't think I've been this much in love with a celebrity since Orlando Bloom, circa seventh grade— except Betty is actually awesome! Not only does this "Golden Girl" have a 2011 calendar coming out (featuring her posing with sexy shirtless dudes) but also an expectedly adorable clothing line. Proceeds from both the calendar and clothing line go to the charity she is a trustee of, the Morris Animal Foundation. Check out the calendar preview and sample hoodie from Betty. Read More

Betty White’s been everywhere lately, and now she can be on your very own chest thanks to a new limited edition line of T-shirts and hoodies featuring the last Golden Girl standing. Don't worry, she sanctioned the use of her mug and a portion of the proceeds even go to the Morris Animal Foundation of which Ms. White is a trustee. Read More

I’m completely obsessed with female villains. In fact, when The White Witch (Tilda Swinton) slapped the little boy in the first Chronicles of Narnia movie, I actually started laughing and clapping in the theater.
But my obsession all started with the original bad ass bitches of Disney.
Let’s face it--they were so much more interesting than those stupid, singing princesses. They were also wayyy more dark and sinister than many of their male counterparts (like Jafar or Gaston, for instance). Read More

What up young entrepreneuring ladies? Just vlogging about all the new clothes you got... for free! What started as personal video blogs about what clothes high schoolers bought has turned into an easy advertising method. Teen girls have been posting what are called "haul videos" on YouTube showing the latest fashions for some time now, but stores are just starting to notice and give them benefits for what was once free advertising.
