Here at BUST Magazine, we consider ourselves to be some pretty green ladies. But in a world inundated with vegan-this and eco-friendly that, we also realize it’s hard to know which green products are the best of the best.
As the resident vegan intern, cool eco-friendly stuff is close to my heart. That’s why in anticipation of our first ever Earth Issue, I’ll be testing a ton of my favorite beauty products, clothing and food. Check out my eco-chic review series on BUST. Read More
I can't decide if this Steve Buscemi dress by Black Milk is ridiculous or awesome..or ridiculously awesome. I happen to think Steve Buscemi is amazing. He's hilarious in a weird sort of way and I kind of find him secretly attractive in GhostWorld (..Right?!..No? Am I alone here?), but do I want to wear his face on my boobs? I don't know about that..
Buy one here if you dare and happen to have an extra $100 lying around.
And just for kicks, here's the hilariously creepy tumblr, Chicks With Steve Buscemeyes, that's gotten quite popular lately. Read More
At any given moment, there are at least a dozen fashion displays and exhibits going on around the world. Most recently, I saw the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibit at The Met and had no hesitation about considering it art, but I did start to wonder, “When does fashion become art” and “What exactly is the criteria?” Yesterday The New York Times published an article “Gone Global: Fashion as Art?” by Suzy Menkes, which I thought brought up some interesting points about how a museum decides to choose a designer for certain exhibits. A few photos from 14-year-old Hailee Steinfeld's new Fall 2011 Miu Miu campaign have emerged and while Miu Miu is one of my favorite brands and I think Hailee looks adorable in their clothes, the photo above kind of freaks me out in the same way Elle Fanning becoming "fashion's latest muse" at 13 years old freaks me out.
I think Hailee above and Elle Fanning in Marie Claire posted below look amazing and I admit, I love the photos. I feel like this brings up a lot of questions for me though. Read More
Summer is officially is full swing and while I might be lacking in funds to buy all the pretty, summery things I love, I decided to make a “Summer Wishlist” of fashionable items that add some summer fun to ensembles lacking the colorful tights and cardigans of autumn and spring. I'm a total Fall girl who loves to layer, but getting creative with colors, prints, and accessories is what I love best about summer. I hope you enjoy peeking into my online inspiration. These are a few of my favorite things right now. Read More
While Mad Men won't be back till early 2012, if you're missing the fabulous style created by costume designer, Janie Bryant, fear not, you can still get a dose of it come August when her 65-piece collaboration with Banana Republic's creative director, Simon Kneen, emerges. Check out some of the looks below and my thoughts on some of the pieces.
I'm definitely digging the men's wear, I'm a sucker for a bow tie or sweater vest, but I'm not totally sold on the women's wear. I see the inspiration, but I definitely see more Banana Republic than "Mad Men. Read More

I was browsing this hilarious website "Dads Are The Original Hipsters". and what do I find? That's right. My parents. In a bar, rockin' flannels, and scarves looking too cool for school!
This website is gold, they take old pictures of Dad's back in the day, and write funny commentary mocking everybody and everything. Read More

If you're anything like me, you understand how amazing animals are. My dog is like my child, I watch that video of the french bulldog that can't roll over on YouTube a little too much when I'm feeling blue, and I am always scouring the interweb for all things related to adorable animals. That being said, you can imagine my sheer delight when i discovered The Catorialist, yeah, that's right, a style blog about CATS. Mimicking the ultimate in serious street blogs, right down to it's format, this copycat is a hilarious take on feline style. Read More
I mentioned photographer Jamie Beck previously when I blogged about her fantastic CoCo Rocha cinemgraphs, but I didn't really get to talk about Jamie's photography blog itself, From Me To You. The photos are stunning and you really get a glimpse inside the world as she see it. My absolute favorite part though are her gorgeous inspiration shoots. She doesn't do outfit posts too often, but when she does, they are extra special. Under the "Daily Outfits" link on the side of her blog is the collection of inspired looks she's created. Read More
Forever21 always kind of irked me for a variety of reasons: the sizes are strange and ill-fitting, they pretty much blatantly knock off designers, and their bags have random bible verses on them, which can seem a bit pushy in my opinion. Now let's add one more reason to the mix..they can't take a joke! WTForever 21 (while it's still up) is a blog run by Rachel Kane whose purpose is to hilariously and endearingly poke fun at the franchise's more ridiculous items of clothing. Forever21 is now threatening to sue Kane over the website. Read More
