I've seen plenty of dudes sportin' the classic letterman jacket, but it's not until recently that I'm seeing ladies get in on the action as well. The bow ties, loafers, and cardigans of school years past have since become staples in many people's wardrobes, so it's only natural that this schoolyard gear would also make an appearance. The jackets were all over the runway, at shows from Alexander Wang and Phillip Lim to Moschino and Rag & Bone. Of all the "perfect home" bloggers out there on the internet, I think I like  the best. This Belgium-based blogger lives in an old house that she is in the process of renovating and redecorating, and her style is fresh and clean but also cozy and sweet, a combination that I really love. And homegirl does a lot with pink. The way she uses it it always looks inviting, never cloying; girly but not Barbie.   Obviously it’s Veteran’s Day, but did you know it’s also National Corduroy Day? Well it is. I mean how can you not take advantage of such a momentous occasion as 11|11|11, which as corduroy enthusiasts realized a few years back, looks a lot like the fabric’s striped pattern. The golden age of corduroy was in the 1970s, but the holiday originated in 2005, when The Corduroy Appreciation Club (a semi-serious club for those who really love the fabric) held its first meeting in Brooklyn.
