When I heard designer and fellow San Antonian, Angelina Mata, was showcasing her Spring/Summer 2012 ready-to-wear collection for this year's Fashion Week, I knew I had to be there. Inspired by "nostalgia for a simpler time," Suzanne Rae created a simple, stylishly zen-like collection for Fashion Week using crepe de chine, silk chiffon, hemp jersey, and raw silk. The creator and founder, the wonderful Ari Seth Cohen, has a deep, real passion for women of a certain age who do their own thing and who love to dress stylishly, and he has been photographing and interviewing these amazing folks since 2008.
