As with Jordan Catalano’s group, "The Frozen Embryos" on the 90s TV show, My So-Called Life, band names don’t necessarily have to make sense. Especially when you’re a teenager-- they’re just another way to express bottled-up angst.  Although I could stare at pictures of early Mick Jagger all day, I'm less excited by band members than by the bands' names themselves. SXSW-featured musician and BUST favorite Zola Jesus will be on Conan O’Brien tonight! Huzzah. After a European tour earlier this year and a stint at the Guggenheim, ZJ will grace our television screens performing with Brooklyn hip-hop star El-P. The two will definitely be playing something from El-P’s newest solo album, Cancer 4 Cure. The rapper announced his on-air collaboration with ZJ via Twitter saying “tomorrow I'm on Conan with the squad and Zola Jesus. day after that la.” He then tweeted a picture of a very sullen looking Zola a few hours later.
