Crafty-cool website Cut Out + Keep hit the 30,000 member benchmark today, which is quite the feat. The website, which started out as a personal craft blog for journalist Cat Morley, has expended into a craft mecca, with oh so many craft and other DIY (beauty and food recipes, etc) tutorials posted by members.
While browsing the website earlier, I found tutorials for a Spiderman Bento Box, a Strawberry Cheeze Cupcake, and a charming Envelope Bag with many possible uses. Read More

Last spring a screening of Handmade Nation made its way to Portland, OR, where I was living at the time. Because I was a little slow on the up-take, the screening at the Museum of Contemporary Craft sold the hell out and I was left a little bummed.
