This Is Awkward

Forced family photos have all the ingredients to create an awkward storm. For example, there is a famed photo of myself, age four, winking from a chair in a campsite. At least, I thought I was winking. Years later, I found out I had really been stung by a bee and my dad decided to immortalize the hilarity of me always looking like I'm winking in a family photo. Awkward Family Photos celebrates all this potential with some seriously cringe-worthy portraits, like ... Read More

It stars a Charlies Angels type threesome of comic ladies left to the sidelines, like Mary Jane from Spiderman, Millicent Collins and Patsy Walker (aka Hellcat). Their Bosworth is, well, who else? I happen to live near the most sexual corner in all of America, Houston and Lafayette, NYC. Above is the latest CK ad on said corner. In case you can't tell, we have 3 gay dudes and what looks like a pre pubescent girl sweating and getting it on. Really, is this working for you Calvin? It makes me throw up a little in my mouth every morning on my way to work. And then I have to discuss it with my 11 and 14 year old daughters, and then I have to guilt-out about ... Read More

Apparently the people over at Parker Brothers think they're the hot jock in a nineties movie taking on the task of making over that nerdy, artsy girl into a hot chick. Scrabble has recently been transformed into a glitzy fashion statement that is, of course, covered in pink from head-to-toe. Scrabble used to be reserved for bookworms and girls who wear glasses, but now it's the Scrabble Designer Edition! It 'has style, taste and elegant accessories' and other ... Read More
