Jeff Kuznekoff, an assistant professor at Miami University, and Michael Kasumovic, an evolutionary biologist for UNSW Australia, teamed up to conduct a study measuring bullying and gender. In order to accurately get the information they wanted, the popular first-person shooter game, Halo 3, was used.

On June 17, 2015, Raul Labrador – Idaho’s 1st district representative – introduced the H.R. 2802. The bill specifies protection against any discrimination of a person who “believes or acts in accordance with a religious belief or moral conviction that marriage is or should be recognized as the union of one man and one woman, or that sexual relations are properly reserved to such a marriage.”

Meet Radamenes. He’s Polish, cuddly, and above all else, helps to save the lives of other animals. After surviving a respiratory infection, he felt it was his duty to assist his veterinarians in caring for the animals of his shelter.

On July 10, Sandra Bland, driving to a new job at a Texas university, was pulled over for failing to use her blinker when changing lanes. The Root reports: “Police claim that during the stop she became combative, was thrown to the ground, arrested and charged with ‘assault on a public servant.’” On July 13, she was found dead in her jail cell. Police deemed it “self-inflicted asphyxiation,” and a coroner ruled it a suicide. However, those close to Bland, and the black activist community at large, are suspicious of these claims. Read More
