If you've ever been on the internet or watched TV past 10 PM, you know there are sexy, hot singles in your area just itching to talk to you...for a price. Have you ever wondered who the person on the other end of the advertisement is? Are they actually hot or sexy? Are they even single? Are they robots?
According to the new hilarious movie For a Good Time, Call... out in September, they are indeed hot, but sometimes reluctant. Read More
Have you ever ziplined? It involves an invigorating slide on a line while holding onto a bar above your head. Have you ever ziplined naked? It involves, well, nudity. And for 100 women in British Columbia, it involves charity.
ZipZone Adventures is holding its second annual nude ziplining event June 21. Billed as ZipZone Naked 100, the zipline park hopes to enlist the help of 100 women to zipline in various stages of undress. Each participant is being asked to raise at least $100 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the goal is to raise at least $20,000. Read More
If you've ever been a kid, or still are, you know that those who have not come of age yet can be real assholes. I'm sure you can think of a time when you saw someone bullied, were bullied, or worse, were the bully when you were younger. But can you think of a time when you saw an adult bullied by a kid? If you watch the below video, you unfortunately will always remember such an instance. Read More
No, I'm not talking about hot women in the the Olympics. Well, they could be. Regardless, these women are knock outs in the true sense. This year's games marks a first and a last: the first time women will compete in boxing and the last time women will be closed out of any part of the Olympics.
Women’s boxing is an Olympic sport for the first time, with thirty-six fighters in three weight classes competing. Read More
Larry Getlen at the New York Post interviewed Adam Carolla today to talk about his new book, which is about growing up in North Hollywood, and probably a lot of other things no one cares about. Today, he's saying a bunch of inflammatory stuff-- probably to try to gain some sort of cultural relevance other than his podcast or old show. One of those things is that women aren't funny. For a dude whose old TV show was based almost entirely on making fun of women, or women on jumping on trampolines, it makes you wonder if he knows anything about comedy. Read More
Now that it's not copacetic to throw the V-word around in the realm of American government, I decided to go ahead and make a short list of places where it is okay to use the word "vagina." Feel free to use this as a guide so that you don't startle any unexpected listeners. We don't know what the free use of anatomical terms could lead to, but some possibilities are: maturity, correctness, tolerance and, of course, anarchy.
1) The street. It's totally cool to use the word vagina when you're walking down the street having a conversation. Read More

You’ve heard of the amazing things going on in Russia. Right? You’ve heard of the protests in Red Square and surprise show at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. I know you’ve seen images of these fiercely brave women dawning balaclava head gear and outfitted in neon. Well at least I hope so. Russian all girl punk band Pussy Riot has made headlines over the past couple of months with the guerilla style activist work and the movement of women they are leading in Russia. Read More

Flappers knew how to get dolled up and keep it copacetic in the 20s, and today we love them just as much as they would have wanted us to. Besides partying and staying in style, these ladies created a whole new language so catchy that a lot of it stuck around until today. We all know that the Real McCoy is the cat’s pajamas, not to take any wooden nickels, and that no one likes a wet blanket. Read More
If you've ever caught the tiny voice in the back of your head thinking to yourself that the 33 cent pay gap between women and men really isn’t all that big, first of all: you are the worst, and second of all: let’s see if you’re singing a different tune when you see all the cool things you could afford when those cents add up. The Center for American Progress plugged in the numbers and found some interesting results. In 2010 the median full-time working man took home $47,715 in earnings, while the median full-time working woman made only $36,931—77. Read More

Remember when the Vatican blasted the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (aka about 80 percent of American sisters) for focusing on the poor and hungry instead of railing against reproductive rights and gay people?
Well, those “radical feminist” gals haven’t taken the criticism lying down. Read More
