You can't unsee it. Usually if you crack a rock open, you just find more rock. But apparently some rock innards are a bit more barfy.

The next time you’re going on a leisurely hike… watch out for Goatman! He’s a lot like Batman or Spiderman, except he doesn’t fight crime, have any cool gadgets, or deal with super villains on a daily basis. Okay, I guess he’s really nothing like our summer blockbuster heroes. But, he does wear a goat costume. That should count for something.
Earlier this week, a man wearing a goat suit was seen wandering the northern Utah mountains. If that wasn’t weird enough, he also seemed to be living among the actual goats that populate the terrain. Read More

Ever wished your cooler was big enough to store your delicious summer watermelon, so you didn’t have to slice it before going to your picnic/pool party? Well, luckily for you, some Japanese inventors/manufacturers have thought of just the thing to help you out. Back in 2010, Marugoto Tamachan produced a portable watermelon cooler for that very purpose. Measuring about 35x50 cm and shaped a bit like a space pod, this cooler is mounted on wheels so that it can go everywhere you do. I learned three things recently, and all from reading one article:
1) It is possible to swallow an entire pen, by accident, without causing yourself serious harm.
2) Pens sometimes do not show up on x-rays (despite the fact that they are PENS).
3) A pen that has been hanging out in your stomach for 25 years is still capable of writing.
It’s gross, it’s weird, and it’s 100 percent true. A woman in Britain accidentally (accidentally!) swallowed a pen while doing a little medical self-diagnosis on her tonsils. Read More
