In this world we live in, there are wonderful crafts—the brilliantly executed, aesthetically pleasing DIYs we long to get off of the internet to create ourselves with Popsicle sticks and hot glue guns But for every amazing craft project, there is an ugly equivalent forged while someone was a bit tipsy on Cupcake wine.
Lucky Peach is no stranger to dualism: Bloggers Anna and Gabrielle have taken to celebrating unfortunate experiments with a monthly blog installation called "Deranged Crafts," in fact. Read More

Today is Friday the 13th, and you might be on edge-- if you believe in that sort of thing, anyway. Images of doom and gloom and evocations of supernatural occurrences amused us as kids: black cats, broken mirrors, indoor umbrella use, and under-ladder walkways, etc...But for some, those unlucky symbols still mean something. When I read that a cafe in Tokyo is providing customers the offer to sleep with a girl for about $80, I was like, hold the phone. It’s not what you’re probably thinking, though--it’s quite literally just sleeping.
If you feel like splurging, you can pay an additional 1000 yen (roughly $13) for your female snuggler to pat you on your head while you sleep, or you can stare at each other for one minute (staring contest, go!). Read More

The next time you’re going on a leisurely hike… watch out for Goatman! He’s a lot like Batman or Spiderman, except he doesn’t fight crime, have any cool gadgets, or deal with super villains on a daily basis. Okay, I guess he’s really nothing like our summer blockbuster heroes. But, he does wear a goat costume. That should count for something.
Earlier this week, a man wearing a goat suit was seen wandering the northern Utah mountains. If that wasn’t weird enough, he also seemed to be living among the actual goats that populate the terrain. Read More
