At BUST, we’re on board with certain parts of so-called “bacon culture”: bacon chocolate chip cookies, bacon chive bread, even bacon tattoos.
But we’re not so sure about this new bacon product: bacon-scented underwear.
J&D’s Foods introduced the bacon-smelling undies today. There’s a boxer briefs option for men and a bikini-style option for women, both priced at $19.99. Both pairs are red and feature the slogan “Stop and smell the -" followed by a strategically-placed image of bacon. Read More

Here’s a crazy stat for you: The 44-year-old founder of Spanx, Sara Blakely, is the youngest self-made lady billionaire in history.
The business of whittling down women’s waists has been a big deal for a long time, so maybe it’s not too surprising that the person who started the modern restrictive undergarment craze is swimming in moola.
But what are Spanx and other body shapers really costing you?
New reports tell scary tales of compressed organs, squashed bowels, and numbness and tingling in the legs, all caused by squeezing your tuchus into too-tight spandex. Dr. Read More

Yesterday, the New York Times reported about a hip new trend for young women: full bottom underwear. You heard us right—thongs are no longer cool. Apparel analysts and young women themselves agree that thongs have passed, and that being comfortable is the new thing.
The research coincides with this observation: according to NPD, a research company, “Sales of thongs decreased 7 percent over the last year, while sales of fuller styles — briefs, boy shorts and high-waist briefs — have grown a collective 17 percent. Read More

There is nothing quite as nice as slipping into a soft, comfy, these-fit-perfectly pair of underwear. Lingerie shopping is tricky even in the best circumstances. Choosing between fits, style types, fabrics and colors can be exhausting on its own. But for those of us who don’t fall into the relatively narrow range of Caucasian skin tones that most "flesh" or "nude"-toned lingerie is manufactured for, things can be even more complicated.
Seeing a huge need for skin-toned lingerie that could benefit all women of color, Ade Hassan founded Nubian Skin. The new lingerie line includes T-shirt bras, briefs, push-up bras, lace shorts and even tights. Read More

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- menstruation can be the living worst. It’s smelly, messy, sticky, painful, and so many other unpleasant things. Imagine how much it would suck being on your period while living in a developing country. A lot of people all over the world don’t have the money to pay for pads, tampons, pain medication, what have you. Even if they did have the money, there’s nowhere nearby to get these items for many of these people. What’s worse, not having pads often prevents these girls from going to school. Read More

Are you as sick of the endless lingerie search, foraging for a larger cup size that is not boring and/or overpriced? I wear a bra size 34F and let me tell you, finding a bra that is comfortable, supportive, and cute all for an affordable price is a true pain. The boutique stores with small lacy bras for smaller sizes just don't offer the kind of support larger breasts need and the large chains like Victoria Secret and Macy's are always throwing diamonds and bows all over everything. Also, I certainly can't afford the intricate bras from the stores specializing in larger breast sizes. Read More
