Check out this awesome video of Citytv reporter Shauna Hunt responding to the vulgar statement of a Toronto soccer fan. In the middle of one of Hunt's interviews, a man interrupted to say "f**k her right in the p**sy" directly into her microphone. Rather than letting it go, the female reporter confronted the man and his friends on camera to let them know "It's a disgusting thing to say... it's degrading to women."   Though none of the guys responded with any sort of embarrassment or remorse, we're happy to see Hunt calling them out. An incredibly brave young woman at Columbia University is making a bold declaration against her rapist, her school and anyone who stands in the way of justice for herself and women across the nation. Through his lens, the human form glistens, morphs into powerful abstract shapes. His project With Child highlights the strength inherent in the pregnant form; he catalogues female bodies right before and right after birth without a trace of the triteness often applied to the subject matter. The Sundance Channel must have a degree in making educational yet totally captivating shows, unlike most enriching television which lulls me to premature slumber. Instead Sundance pumps out series like Big Ideas for a Small Planet and Green Porno with Isabella Rosellini, which are hysterical and make me feel a little bit smarter. Read More
