Apparently I was unaware that there is a difference between rape, and “forcible” rape. I apologize for my ignorance – how was I to know that the word “no” isn’t an onomatopoeia?
Thank you ever so much, Chris Smith, for informing me! Golly gee, how silly I feel now that I stand corrected that women should not be eligible for federal assistance for abortion in rape cases unless she’s bruised or has had a bone ... Read More

Last week, the young men pledging to Delta Kappa Epsilon (DKE) fraternity at Yale were blind-folded in the middle of the night and sent to march in front of the dorms on Old Campus, where most of the first year women are housed, and chant such things as, "No means yes! Yes means anal!" and "My name is Jack, I'm a necrophiliac, I f-ck dead women and fill them with my semen." Their actions were met with righteous outrage, with a statement issued by the Yale Women's ... Read More

The BBC reported last week on a case in Israel where a man has been convicted of rape because the woman he had sex with learned after the fact he was not Jewish, but Arab. South African Dr. Sonnet Ehlers has created what she sees as a new weapon of defense for women against what is said to be one of the highest rape rates in the world. The device is Rape-aXe, a female condom with "teeth." The hooks inside are designed to latch on during unwanted penetration so that, “it hurts, he cannot pee and walk when it’s on… If he tries to remove it, it will clasp even tighter... however, it doesn't break the skin, and ...
